Friends, a long journey😋, part 1
The happiness and sadness of our lives are all in the work we do. Everyone wants to be happy, and friends are very close to us.
So one day, when some friends met, they talked about going on a trip.We didn't have to think much about the trip because we usually travel and know what the problems and challenges will be.
Anyway, the story of the road to this point was a bit of a long journey. The journey that started on a beautiful road in Mahiyanganaya changed after that, and that's a different story.Everyone knows that what we're going to do on bikes is difficult.
As the story goes, everyone got ready at 1.30 in the morning while reading at home and went out. When we were leaving for the trip, I will tell you that our group was travelling, there were 3 bikes on the trip. Chathuranga,Charuka,Isuru,Kavishka,Shatila and I, there were 6 boys.
We set off from our village in Ruwanwella, and the distance to Mahiyanganaya was about 150km according to the map
As the story went on, we were approaching Kegalle town.We decided to have some tea, but since it was difficult to find it at this time, we stopped for a while and started walking. Somehow, by 6.00 in the morning, we were able to reach the eighteen bends.
We had a chance to relax after staying here for a while. Let's not talk about that method.
18 Bend "I didn't know much about this, but I thought it was important for everyone, so I'll attach a web page with details about it here."
We stayed here for a long time and when we went to Mahiyangana it was around 8.30. We first went to the Mahiyangana Raja Maha Viharaya and engaged in religious activities. We did not forget to find out about the elephant that was in the temple.
Because I was very interested in this elephant. I was able to find out that the elephant was 30 years old. I found out that his name was ISURU and that he was raised in the Pinanwala Elephant Orphanage.
Somehow, after buying some snacks from a nearby shop, we went to the Willuwa Lake for lunch. But no one thought that our journey would change here. Chaturanga put something else in our minds.
"It's 11.20 now, shall we go to Batticaloa?"
There were several differences in the faces of the group.
