Friends, a long journey😜, part 4
"CHARUKA - I'm sleeping now"
"KAVISHKA - If it's difficult, we'll stop and go"
"ME - If time is up, we'll go"
We left again at around 9.30. It was dark everywhere. We didn't see anything along the road. There many big trucks parked on the road. It nighttime so there wasn't the busy.
It around 10.05 when we arrived in Dambulla town. Dambulla town is a historical significance in Sri Lanka. We passed by the town thinking, "I want to visit Dambulla one day soon."
We had to stop at several places along the way. because we were very tired and bored, so we get more stops along the way.
Something special I saw on the way brought back old memories. The Ibbankatuwa cemetery was not open at night, it reminded me of my school trips. I remember visiting the Ibbankatuwa cemetery I was in grade 11.
The Ibbankatuwa Cemetery is a place that anyone who has studied history would be amazed by. In the past, there were many ways in which people paid their last respects they died. You can also see many ways in which they buried in the cemetery.
The main place where rock burials can be seen today is the Ibbankatuwa Cemetery. Find out more details through the link below.
By the time we reached Kurunegala town after everything was over, it was around 11.15.
Since it was night, we were eager to go home, so we continued our journey. We continued our journey from Kurunegala to Kegalle town via Polgahawela. The most difficult part of the journey was the section between Polgahawela to Kegalle, because that rode not good for go.but we continued the journey.
It was 12:00 when we reached Kegalle town and the road not new to us. Since there was only 40km to go, the route was well known, so there was a change in speed.
I woke up at 9.05 am. Even though I was already 5 minutes late, I got ready for the online lecture. It felt like a normal day again.
Somehow, I had reached home at 2:00 in the morning. My friends were still sleep. My bike, carefully carried me on my journey, had gone on a journey with my father early in the morning.
