Traveling with family ๐Ÿš 02

We all entered the Sigiriya royal palace grounds with a long talk. It was a busy day because it was a holiday, so there were a lot of people there.

At the entrance, a group  seen deployed to stop people from bringing in things like polythene and plastic. We all need to know how to protect our historical sites.

Sigiriya is a famous place in Sri Lanka and around the world, mainly due to the many archaeological places can be seen in Sigiriya.

We entered Sigiriya the main gate. I will write down some details I know about Sigiriya.

First, on the way to Sigiriya, we come across water fountains and lakes that are still work very well today. These were built in the past for beauty and security.

The Lion's Foot Gate is the main entrance to the cave.

After we entered, we started climbing the rock. Mr. Bell's discoveries from the past, the discoveries at Sigiriya and the Palace, take center stage.According to his views, there were palace-like buildings on the rock. Many of its ruins can still be seen today.

I will post a link here with facts about Sigiriya ๐Ÿ‘‡

Sigiriya

We visited many special places in Sigiriya, including paintings, and caves. We didn't forget to visit the Sigiriya Museum at the end.

Sigiriya can be considered a  special place the great creations built using science in Sri Lanka's history and a place many creations have been discovered.

We tried a few of the foods we saw along the way, we couldn't siting seeing some delicious achcharu.

We were able to return around 2:00, but it was already lunch time, so we needed to find a place to eat. In the end, we decided it would be better to go to Dambulla and think about food.

We also set out to come. However, it was quite difficult to leave because of the crowd that was already there.

It is also our responsibility to preserve Sri Lanka's historical sites because it is through them that we can see the past and future of our country.
